Coco 7.2.1 is here with new improvements

Written by Nico Kaufmann | Nov 27, 2024 8:34:23 AM

The Coco team is happy to announce the release of Coco 7.2.1. Along with our own testing, we have carefully reviewed customer feedback and suggestions to arrive at over 20+ bug fixes and several improvements for this maintenance release.

These are the highlighted improvements:

  • The performance of the command line analysis features introduced with Coco 7.1 and 7.2, to help with incoherent instrumentation issues, has been improved.
  • The CSV report now contains additional information about which parts of conditions have been covered.
  • Source files that do not contain any instrumentation points can now be included in coverage reports.
  • We introduced a new command line argument --cs-record-call to allow recording coverage for functions that might break the execution flow, like run-time assertions.

Starting with this release the offline documentation will also be available for download as a separate package, it includes improved styling and an offline search.
