    What is the Axivion Proof of Value Workshop?

    You can read as many success stories as you want and watch hours of video material - none of that can show you if a tool will actually work in your development environment. We know that Axivion will and want to let you experience this yourself before you make a purchase decision.

    During a 1-3 day Proof of Value workshop (either on-site or remote) our experts together with your team will install Axivion in your development environment and analyze your software project(s). Your software developers and engineers have the opportunity to explore all features, ask questions and make sure that your specific needs are met.

    At the end of the workshop, you will not only have a holistic and comprehensive understanding of the current quality of your software project(s), but are also able to calculate the expected ROI after you purchase a permanent licence.

    What's Next?

    Once we receive your contact request, one of our experts will get in touch with you to discuss some basic details. This will give also give you the chance to ask any questions you may have regarding the Proof of Value workshop.

    As soon as all administrative requirements (including the signing of the NDA) have been met, you will receive a technical questionnaire. In it we will request details about your development environment such as

    • which language standard and which tools (compiler, IDE, build process, version control etc.) you use
    • if you have automated builds via continuous integration
    • if there are coding guidelines or standards you apply
    • information about your operating system and available memory

    Why do we ask this? We want you to get the most the workshop and make sure the set-up runs smoothly, so you can spend more time learning about the extensive range of features.

    Our experts then set up the Axivion Suite together with your team and analyse the project(s) you have selected. The findings of the analysis and possible countermeasures are discussed with your technical experts. This is the hands-on part during which your team can explore the the possibilities our tools offer.

    As a final step, the workshop results will be summarized and presented to your decision makers together with your technical experts. This presentation will include a ROI calculation, e.g. the estimated savings in development costs.
