Quality & Compliance Specialist

About the job

As a Quality & Compliance Specialist, your role is to manage process development, quality policies, and procedures globally and implement those into practice in all product/business areas. You will monitor the processes to meet quality and industry standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO27001) and SW legislation requirements (e.g., EU CRA) and suggest improvements when needed. Together with Product Management, IT, and Legal teams, you are responsible for quality area customer assessment questionnaires and compliance documentation execution. You are familiar with industry requirements and serve as the customer's voice for product management and R&D teams. We are looking for a quality-driven person who is enthusiastic about making an impact on the company's business.

This position is based in Espoo, Finland.

You will

• Develop QMS processes, quality policies, and procedures globally and implement those into practice with all product/business areas
• Address and discuss issues and propose solutions with process and quality owners and subject matter experts
• Monitor processes to meet quality standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO27001) and suggest improvements when needed
• Make recommendations for improvement and create training materials, policies, guidance, and product support materials
• Work with relevant functions and support customer quality assessments, questionnaires, compliance clarifications, and audits
• Help with product positioning and provide input for development requirements
• Follow up on customer quality requirements and standards to identify opportunities and key issues
• Educate the company on quality processes
• Collaborate widely across the company at all levels and organizations

About you

• Minimum of 3 years in Quality management of a highly technical software product
• Experience in quality processes and ISO9001 requirements
• SW/QA development background and ability to collaborate effectively with, e.g., technical product managers and R&D teams
• Familiarity with SW development lifecycle (security/cybersecurity) and product management principles
• Prior experience in Software Quality processes and tools
• Experience in internal and external audits
• Experience in industry-specific and legislation quality requirements management
• Quality-oriented working style: the ability to model the business and make fact-based, quality-related product proposals
• Proficient communication and presentation skills in English
• International travel is required in this role
