People and Culture Specialist, Learning and Development

About the Role  
 
Are you passionate about driving impactful learning and development initiatives? In this role, you’ll lead Qt’s global efforts to support our strategic goals, including onboarding and leadership programs. You’ll also spearhead various short and long-term projects and play a pivotal role in enhancing our workplace culture. Become a true ambassador of culture and join our supportive global People and Culture team at our headquarters in Espoo.  

This position is a temporary family leave replacement for a one year contract. 

You will  

• Develop our leadership program further, “Qt Way to Lead,” to empower and support over 120 people managers at Qt.
• Ensure our global onboarding process evolves with our growth, enhancing both the onboarding and pre-onboarding experiences. 
• Administer and develop our learning platform (LearnUpon) and employee survey tool (Eletive), ensuring they are always up-to-date and effective. 
• Collaborate with all functions globally to support learning and knowledge-sharing across the company, including eLearning course creation and sourcing training service providers. 
• Innovate and implement new methods to foster a culture of continuous learning at Qt.

About You  

• Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural environment. 
• Hands-on experience with managing digital learning platforms (LMS) and creating e-learning courses and/or other digital learning content.
• Experience in coordinating leadership learning programs. 
• Comfortable in partnering with different training service providers in identifying and negotiating the best solution. 
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills. 
• Proficiency in using Teams, SharePoint, and similar tools. 
• Strong drive for achieving results and continuous improvement. 
• Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written (English is our corporate language).

Beneficial skills  

• Experience with digital learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Rise. 
• Knowledge of people development theories and current learning trends. 
• Training and/or facilitation experience
