License Specialist

About the Job:

As a License Specialist, you’ll educate our customers on Qt’s software license policies, ensure compliance with our terms and conditions, analyze Qt usage data, and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate legal risks. This is a hybrid in-office role in Boston. 

 

You will:

  • Educate customers on licensing requirements and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Qt software licensing terms
  • Conduct license reviews
  • Collaborate with internal teams on process identification and escalation
  • Analyze Qt usage data and report on license management activities
  • Provide excellent customer service with strong cross-functional collaboration

 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Data, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Experience with SFDC and PowerBI
  • Audit experience
  • Familiarity with software development tools (IDEs, code repositories)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of open-source software and license compliance is a plus
