Customer Support Engineer, QA Software Products

About the Role 

We are hiring a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Engineer within our global QA Software Support team. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to our clients using QA Software products, such as Squish, Coco and Axivion. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our customers by delivering timely and effective support solutions.

You will

• Provide optimal solutions for customers. 
• Work closely with customers and help them to achieve their goals 
• Process support requests from developers who use our QA tools 
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the product 
• Provide technical support via email and, virtual meetings if needed 
• Work with various other departments to help bring visibility to the customers’ needs 

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systems 
• Experience with shell scripts (Bash or others) and Unix command line
• Experience with batch scripts (".bat" files) and Windows command line
• Experience with any of coding guidelines such as MISRA, AUTOSAR and/or CERT
• Highly organized and solutions-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
• Good understanding of the current C++ standard

Beneficial skills

• Additional technical qualifications will be an advantage 
• Javascript and C experience 
• Experience with automated GUI testing (via Squish, QTP, QC, AutoHotkey, or others)
