RTI

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) is the largest software framework company for autonomous systems. RTI Connext Drive® is an interoperable, secure and scalable communication framework that accelerates the development of software-defined vehicles. Based on the DDS middleware standard, Connext Drive distributes vehicle dataflow in real time to ensure vehicle safety and performance. It provides dedicated software components for key SDV use cases: ECU, zonal gateways, high performance compute, ADAS, digital cluster, telematics and cloud, in addition to OEM-specific applications. Connext Drive is certified to ISO 26262 ASIL-D, offering manufacturers an accelerated path to building safety-critical systems for electric and autonomous vehicles.

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) is demonstrating a software-defined vehicle architecture that integrates the widest range of automotive technologies for optimized development and performance, with flexibility for future designs.  The demo showcases a modern Digital Cockpit that combines digital cluster and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) functionality. It displays an infotainment system developed based on Qt Automotive Suite that leverages the data-centric communication capabilities offered by RTI Connext Drive® to provide sensor and vehicle information based on the COVESA VSS standard data model.

The demo is running the latest Qt for MCU graphics library exercising the Apollo4 Plus ultra-mega low power GPU. The demo shows the marriage of Qt’s impressive looking and easy to use graphics framework with Ambiq’s high performance 2.5D graphics acceleration and hardware alpha-blending support.
