We are happy to announce the release of Qt Creator 13 RC!
For more details on the improvements and fixes in Qt Creator 13, please head over to the Beta release blog or check out our change log.
Get Qt Creator 13 RC
The opensource version is available on the Qt download page under "Pre-releases", and you find commercially licensed packages on the Qt Account Portal. Qt Creator 13 RC is also available under Preview > Qt Creator 13.0.0-rc1 in the Qt Online Installer. Please post issues in our bug tracker. You can also find us on IRC on #qt-creator on irc.libera.chat, and on the Qt Creator mailing list.
You can read the Qt Creator Manual in Qt Creator in the Help mode or access it online in the Qt documentation portal.
Under beta2 blogpost I wrote that I have to check clangd after every restart. Now, after checking it and clicking "OK" QtCreator crashes with:
Failed to initialize instances shared memory: "QSharedMemory::handle: doesn't exist" QFSFileEngine::open: No file name specified
("Apply" button works)
Could these release announcements please mention that for commercial customers, they should log in to their account.qt.io and log a commercial support ticket as a first stage issue reporting rather than directing always to JIRA. There are many technical and relational advantages to Qt Group and to the customer in using this incredibly useful mechanism.
Do you have any plans to release Qt Creator also for arm64-windows arch?
