Qt Creator 12.0.1 released

We are happy to announce the release of Qt Creator 12.0.1!

This version of Qt Creator fixes various issues, like deployment to Boot to Qt devices from Windows, a few crashes, dropping files onto the Qt Creator windows, and more. Take a look at our change log for more details.

Get Qt Creator 12.0.1

The opensource version is available on the Qt download page under "Qt Creator", and you find commercially licensed packages on the Qt Account Portal. Qt Creator 12.0.1 is also available as an update in the online installer. Please post issues in our bug tracker. You can also find us on IRC on #qt-creator on irc.libera.chat, and on the Qt Creator mailing list.

My QtC still complains about outdated/incompatible Bookmarks plugin (version 11.0.3) on each launch. Has it been discontinued (and the installation process just failed to remove it)? Can I safely disable/delete it?

You can delete the 11.0.3 plugin. Bookmarks plugin has been merged into TextEditor, see https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt-creator/qt-creator/+/506580
