The Qt Contributor Summit is an annual community event hosted by Qt Group, which brings together developers, contributors, and maintainers from around the world. This is a unique opportunity for participants to connect with each other, learn about the latest developments in Qt, and further contribute to the future of the framework.
The 2024 edition of the Contributor Summit was again a huge success! We had over 80 people at our event; in addition to 50+ employees from Qt, we were delighted to see active participation from almost 30 people from the community who took time out of their daily routines to join us in Würzburg! We had more than 20 different talks and discussions, besides keynotes and closing sessions.
You can read the sessions summary, notes, and more on our wiki.
Overall, the Contributor Summit 2024 was a fantastic event that brought together Qt employees, Qt Project Maintainers, and big-time contributors from all around the world. Also present were representatives from long-term partners such as KDE, KDAB, Extenly, and Scythe Studio. Thank you all for coming!
This year, we met in the quaint Southern German town of Würzburg. Attendees also explored the city in the evenings, visited famous castles, and took a stroll along the river to reach the famous Wine Bridge—basically our unofficial meeting point.
Because of users and contributors like you, Qt continues to be one of the most widely used and respected software development frameworks in the world!
Did you miss this year's edition?
Then we look forward to seeing you with us next year!
Stay tuned for information regarding our Qt Contributor Summit 2025. :)
