Vice President of CNN Mobile Louis Gump will present a keynote at Qt Developer Days Munich.
The CNN keynote is the second to be announced for Qt Developer Days 2011, following the earlier reveal of Canonical as one of the major speakers at the event.
The focus of they keynote will be CNN’s evolving mobile business and their work creating the CNN app for Nokia using the Qt SDK.
The CNN for Nokia app was launched in May this year and it has already achieved strong penetration and been the subject of many positive user reviews.
The conceptualisation and building of the CNN for Nokia app using the Qt SDK is the subject of a Nokia Developer case study video.

Qt Developer Days registration update
A quick update. Attendee registration numbers for both Munich and San Francisco continue to gather speed. Training sessions are filling up; we have already extended the capacity of ‘Advanced Qt – a deep dive’ after all available places were filled, but we will not be able to keep adding capacity.
Other popular event features such as the on-site certification exams (which are offered to event attendees at 50% off normal exam prices) are likely to fill up soon.
Registering now gives you the best chance of accessing the training sessions you want. Note that bookings are not required for everything – The Tech Track and Qt in Use sessions do not require bookings.
The Qt blog will soon reveal more keynotes, more agenda details and a few surprises about the event.
We look forward to bringing them to you and seeing you in Munich or San Francisco.
