I have been officially appointed holiday fairy (or rather, Nisse) for 2010. Yay! Do you want to be on my list for gadgets? Easy. Here’s the deal.
Starting from today, we will give a brand new C7 to the top three contributors to the Qt Developer Network every Monday. Yes, three devices each week.
What does that mean? Every activity on Qt Developer Network is rewarded with a number of points, based on the type of action performed. First thing Monday morning we check the stats we have from the week before and see who earned the most points in that week. From this week until December 31st the three users with the highest score each week win a Nokia C7. That’s it.
Not quite.
All new users – new as in registered since Dec 1st – will get an extra chance and enter another high score battle: the newbie league. The newbie with the highest amount of points each week during our end-of-year giveaway craze will receive my infamous all-included-Qt-care-package with goodies (and maybe some Pepperkake?). If a newbie also makes it into the top three weekly contributors list, we will put an extra-surprise on top.
All winners will be announced in the Qt Developer Network Lounge.
Now, before you run off to collect your points, let me quickly explain the rest:
Oh, and to top it all off, we are doubling the amount of points you get for your activities on the forum and the wiki throughout all of December!
Julestemning, anyone?
